MANET BASED YETs conduct field visit to kibedya village on 22.03.2014

After receiving the third and last YETs PLA training in March 2014, YETs based at the MANET head office have resumed their field activities. The team of three namely Dastan Mziwanda, Amina Bakari and Peter Kigula visited the Kibedya environmental committee that was established by the kibedya village general assembly. The committee amongst other activities is to supervise and censitize other village members to construct  water well in the village.
The team of three were accompanied by the well drilling professional who was to meet and talk to the committee mainly to give the evaluation and the costs for drilling the well. Also the team brought with 100 species of trees to the committee for planting. Also, the committee surveyed the area that was indicated to have/expected to have water. The site was identified by the surveyors sent by the support of the world Bank in 2012. The team visited Kibedya on 22.03.2014.
